Chr. Olesen is a global distribution company operating across feed, food, pharma and technical industries.Founded in 1885, the company is today run by the 4th and 5th generations. From its origins as a local merchant in Aggersund, Chr. Olesen has grown into an international business with more than 200 employees and offices in Denmark, Germany and Brazil.

Chr. Olesen’s existing brand was already strong, with a heritage dating back to 1885. At the same time, it needed modernising to better reflect the organisation it has become today.
The task was therefore simple: to modernise the brand with care and precision, so it supports the company’s global position – without losing its roots in history and DNA.


Based on a deep understanding of the company and its heritage, Sunrise TcTa, in close collaboration with Chr. Olesen, developed a unifying brand platform that made past and future – as well as being reliable and adaptable – complementary rather than conflicting.
We developed brand strategy, visual identity and key messaging, and activated it through a new website, brand campaign and internal kick-offs across
the organisation. This included introducing a simple and recognisable way of communicating that works across markets and people:

No matter who you are. You’re an Olesen.


The result is a complete brand modernisation that brings together global position and local roots – and history with the future. Internally and externally, the brand today stands clearer and stronger. As a global and adaptable company – reliable since 1885. Chr.
