Elevating the Kirk Kapital Brand Experience

Kirk Kapital manages and grows the family-owned capital of one of the wealthiest and most prestigious Danish families – the Kirk family. Based on Kirk Kapital’s values of competence, dedication and integrity, the company continues to evolve its profile while always embodying the core of its business: family.

Challenge

After several years of collaboration with Sunrise, Kirk Kapital aimed to further enhance its brand experience by elevating its visual identity and digital presence. With previous annual reports already pushing the traditional boundaries of the industry, we recognized an opportunity, together with Kirk, to bring the brand to life through a bold new visual identity and immersive, impactful website. The challenge was therefore not only about developing a unique visual identity to help convey the heritage and values of Kirk Kapital, but also how to build an elegant and modern online experience based on these sophisticated brand elements.

Solution

Working closely with Kirk Kapital, we developed a new visual identity inspired by the company’s iconic headquarters: Fjordenhus. A physical manifestation of Kirk’s past, present and future, Fjordenhus’ shapes, patterns, colours and textures formed the foundation for the new visual universe. This included a colour palette rooted in the earthy shades of the building and a blue primary tone that mirrors the waters of Vejle fjord, as well as a new logo and graphic element inspired by the structure’s arches and curvature.

This new visual identity formed the building blocks for the new website. Rather than a traditional, information-driven page structure, we developed the site as an immersive intuitive brand experience. The idea was to create a modern digital presence that could take visitors on a journey through the past, present and future of Kirk Kapital, while still providing key information in an intuitive manner.

Result

The new visual identity elevated Kirk Kapital’s brand and empowered the company to enhance its digital presence through an engaging website that captures the essence of what the company does and all it stands for. In addition to anchoring the website, the new visual identity was also applied to Kirk Kapital’s latest annual report and ESG report, ensuring a unified and engaging brand expression across all touchpoints. With the successful website launch and new visual identity, Kirk Kapital is well-positioned to further amplify its communication and brand position as we move forward with our collaboration.
