Elevating People at Sunrise

As we work constantly to fulfill our promise of elevating brands and people, we at Sunrise are always excited to acknowledge that “elevation” is not limited to clients only. We are pleased to announce the promotion of two of our senior consultants, Phillip Jein and Christoffer Kleding, to associate partners.

Head of our rapidly growing social team, Christoffer has played a key role in initiating social media strategy for clients such as Specsavers, MaryFonden, GUBI and Sampension. Responsible for the development and execution of integrated branding and marketing strategies, Phillip and his team have delivered impactful results for Sampension, Universal Robots and Garant, among other clients.

“Welcoming two more into the partner circle further strengthens our already solid foundation”, explains CEO Simon Hertz. “We believe Sunrise is positioned for substantial growth in the coming years, and with Phillip and Christoffer on board as associate partners, we feel even better prepared for what the future holds”.

You have become an associate partner – what does this mean to you?
It’s of course a big recognition. An encouraging pat on the back. I’m proud to be a part of an exceptional organisation like Sunrise and excited to help develop it further.

What does it mean to work at a commercial transition agency?
To me, working at Sunrise is all about the people. It’s about my team, who I love discussing anything with – from small Facebook updates to complex strategic topics. It’s my colleagues I chat with during lunch. And it’s my clients, who I’ve gradually gotten to know so well, I even know some of their pets’ names.

Phillip Jein

You have become an associate partner – what does this mean to you?
Having been a part of Sunrise for six years, I view this as an acknowledgement of my contribution to the journey Sunrise has been on and our transformation from a traditional advertising agency into a commercial transition agency. But at the same time it’s an expression of the expectations regarding my future contribution, responsibility and role in developing and strengthening the agency together with all the great people we have here.

What does it mean to work at a commercial transition agency?
It means that everyone at Sunrise has a great respect for and focus on result-oriented marketing. Whether it’s brand perceptions or toplines that need to be lifted, it’s our job to help companies take their business to the next level commercially while highlighting the value of strong marketing and creative communication.

We have a great focus on developing young talents so they potentially can become partners. In this way, we ensure that Sunrise has an even stronger foundation to build upon.

Simon Hertz, CEO, Sunrise

Elevating talent with eyes on the future

In line with our promise of elevating brands and people, the promotion of Christoffer and Phillip is indicative of how that fundamental purpose compliments our vision for the future. It’s reflective of Sunrise’s collective understanding that, in order to best elevate clients now and in the future, we must work to elevate talent of our own.

“Elevating brands and people, to me, is an internal and external promise and guiding principle that successful collaboration and solutions are all about strengthening and developing both business and human competencies”, states Phillip. “As much as we work towards the goal of taking our clients’ businesses to the next level, we also work to get ourselves to the next level – to elevate our abilities as well”.

Christoffers adds, “the promotion of Phillip and I is indicative of the kind of organisation Sunrise is – an organisation that believes in young profiles in the industry”.

Highlighting the importance Sunrise places on developing young talent, Simon Hertz sums it up nicely. “We have a great focus on developing young talents so they potentially can become partners. In this way, we ensure that Sunrise has an even stronger foundation to build upon”, states Hertz. “We have many up and coming talents that Christoffer and Phillip will help develop, which at the same time further benefits our overall business. Their appointment is a culmination of a mutual commitment to Sunrise’s development and an affirmation that commercial transformation not only attracts, but also retains talent”.
